Kittens!

We had several litters of kittens this year. They are getting big enough to venture away from the barn. I caught these few lounging in the cool grass this evening.

My Day Today...

...I have fallen behind on my daily photos, so today I decided that I would purpose to take some photos to catch up - so not technically a photo a day - but 6 photos to catch up!!

I made a trip to the feed store. A grain truck was being loaded at the grain elevator:

These white antelope were imported years ago and today I finally purposed to photograph them - and they were near the highway!! They are on a neighboring ranch - not ours.

We have had plenty of rain (but minimal flooding here in our area) and the grass is really growing. This Johnson Grass is growing in the barrow ditch and I'm driving the big pickup.

As I was driving down our county road, I noticed some of our cattle, so stopped to check on them. They are enjoying the cooler summer and lots of grass to graze! These are some of the calves.

While checking them, I decided to "play photographer" and try some closeup shots of some flowers. Curiosity got the cows and they had to come check me out!

And here's a ewe with her twins. Haven't they grown!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
