My early Christmas gift from Mike!!! She is a 1913 Singer model 127. I successfully stitched 3 nine patch blocks with her today - my first on a treadle machine!!!  I need a name - any suggestions?

Today's photo was taken by Gracen. She loves to take photos with her mama's phone and my camera. Actually I think she caught a great shot of Shortcake.

(I didn't get a photo today - so opted to share Gracen's)

Gracen & Shortcake

These two cuties were the models for yesterday's "travel" photo. So yes, Diane, a very short horse as Shortcake is a miniature! Gracen is 3 and they are quite the pair.BTW - Shortcakes "travels" very well - moves out well, is sound, and tracks straight.

Travel

This week's photo challenge from Our Beautiful World is "TRAVEL". As usual, I have a different take on the word. In the ranch world, we talk about how your horse "travels". It is important that a ranch horse has the ability to "travel" with ease through the pasture.

Supper Time

This post is for Diane. Yes, we keep the kittens - all of them. All of the cats except the 2 in front are from this year's litters. But cats, like every other animal on our ranch, work for their keep. We care for them, but we keep them for rodent control. Needless to say, we don't have many problems! This year was a prolific years for litters of kittens, and we have a over abundance of kitties, but due to the nature of living on a ranch, their numbers vary from year to year.
