A friend was given a big bag of sewing items. She shorted through them and thought I would like these quilt patterns that depict Farm Life. I was excited, and after further investigation, found that these are Ruby Short McKin patterns published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 1930! All 25 blocks are here and the paper is in amazing condition. Needless to say this will be a quilt that I will make someday!!
What a special find!

I agree - what a find, and how lovely that your friend thought of you. I cant wait to see what you will do with them (although I guess I'll have to. Maybe Nene will have a special quilt at her house?)
