Supper Time

This post is for Diane. Yes, we keep the kittens - all of them. All of the cats except the 2 in front are from this year's litters. But cats, like every other animal on our ranch, work for their keep. We care for them, but we keep them for rodent control. Needless to say, we don't have many problems! This year was a prolific years for litters of kittens, and we have a over abundance of kitties, but due to the nature of living on a ranch, their numbers vary from year to year.

  8. Great explanation about the cats. I wish we could have cats, especially for the rodent control, but alas, we have a family full of allergies. I love all the colors of your cats too.

  9. What a wonderful photo! So nice cats, I can imagine, that they all have their work at a farm (I have only one here in my little home with garden in a town).

By the way: I could every day travel with the steam train, that's a narrow gauge railway here in our area...

  10. Great photo.
I really miss having cats. We have farms on the island too who take in strays and keep cats for the same reason as you.

    thanks for the obw visit.
